Paula Kuykendall2027 Honored Trailblazer
Paula Kuykendall is a lifetime member of Girl Scouts, participating in troop life as a young girl and ultimately serving on the board of directors for Girl Scouts of Eastern Oklahoma from 2017-2023 and as chairman for four of those years. She was honored by the Council with its Thanks Badge in 2023 for the impact she’s had on the organization.
The leadership skills Paula learned as a Girl Scout served her well in her future career. As Chief Accounting Officer at Hilton Worldwide, one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, Paula oversaw the accounting and financial operations of a multi-billion dollar global organization. She was a key member of the transaction team for the company’s $26 billion IPO, the largest real estate IPO, and the largest IPO in 2013. In her time with the company, she also successfully led a global finance system implementation resulting in improved business intelligence and information to support a truly global company. |
Throughout her career, Paula led the accounting and financial reporting as CAO for companies held by private-equity companies, The Blackstone Group (Hilton Worldwide), Cerberus Capital Management (Vanguard Car Rental, parent of National and Alamo) and Apollo Global Management (Clark Retail Enterprises). She managed corporate relocations, debt financings and restructures, merger and acquisition transactions and sales of the companies. She began her career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen.
Paula holds an BSBA in Accounting from the University of Tulsa and is a CPA. In addition to her board service at GSEOK, she also served on the board of the Child Abuse Network from 2018 – 2023 and as Board Chair for 2 years. At the University of Tulsa, she currently serves on the Executive Advisory Board for the Collins College of Business serving as Chair from 2017 - 2022, the Provost Advisory Council and previously served on the TU Alumni Board – Tulsa Chapter as President and as a university trustee. She holds several honors from the University of Tulsa; in 2005 she was named as a Distinguished Alumna for Outstanding Service to the Profession of Accounting presented by Eta Rho Chapter of Beta Alpha Psi and the School of Accounting Faculty. She was named as an Outstanding Alumna of the Collins College of Business in 2014-2015 and inducted into the Collins College of Business Hall of Fame in 2018. In 2019, she was named as a Distinguished Alumna of the University of Tulsa.
Now retired, Paula enjoys serving on GSEOK’s Go Girl Gala committee and spending time with her husband Pat and two dogs, Onyx and Ash. She proudly touts her affiliation with Girl Scouts because “the programming Girl Scouts offers changes girls’ lives-it makes them confident in themselves and their abilities and ready to tackle whatever life throws at them. I’m so proud to be a Girl Scout.” Throughout her career, Paula has led with the courage, confidence, and character instilled in her as a young Girl Scout and continues to create opportunities for other girls to participate in the organization through her service and advocacy, making her a true Trailblazer for the next generation of female leaders.

Nate & Madison Lovelle
2027 Event Chairs
Nate and Madison Lovelle’s story began unexpectedly at the Go Girl Gala in 2023. Nate had been widowed and was still finding his way through a difficult season of life. Madison, too, had lost a partner a decade earlier. Recognizing that they had both experienced a similar loss, their mutual friend Scott Vaughn encouraged Nate to share a table at the gala and invited Madison to join them.
What began as an unexpected introduction soon blossomed into a meaningful relationship grounded in love, understanding, companionship, family, and shared adventures. Having both experienced profound loss, Nate and Madison found in one another a renewed sense of hope and God’s love and the opportunity to build a beautiful new chapter together. |
Nate is an owner of Council Oak Wealth Advisors in Tulsa. He attended Stanford University, where he wrestled, and the University of Tulsa. He is a former President of the Board of Governors at the Summit Club, a member of the University of Tulsa Collins College of Business Executive Advisory Board, was a committee co-chair for the 2007 PGA Championship, a board member for the Tulsa Sports Commission, and a past Chairman of the University of Tulsa Student Investment Fund Advisory Board.
Madison, who has nearly four million social media followers, has dedicated her platform to developing a deeper understanding of the mental and psychological impact of hoarding on individuals and families. She attended the University of Arkansas and the University of Oklahoma. She is a past board member of the Mental Health Association Oklahoma.
Their long friendship with and deep respect for Paula Kuykendall – who had “encouraged” Nate for years to become involved with the Girl Scouts – made it an easy decision when Paula asked them to chair the event in her honor. For Nate and Madison, it is a meaningful opportunity to celebrate someone they care deeply about while supporting a cause that has become an important part of their story.
